Sungai Lembing Trip -FOOD
Semester break = Short escape !
Me and my bestie had a 3 days 2 night trip to Sungai Lembing & Kuantan few weeks back then.
Sg.Lembing is a small town, yet it has a lot of attractions and nice foods!
We had ju-cheong-fun, char siu rice and yin-yong pao as our lunch at Mining Restaurant once we arrived Sungai Lembing.
The food are just ok but the yin-yong pao is really nice! The pao is self-made and the stuffing inside is made of meat and eggs. The filling is so full and the pao is sooo fluffy!!
(p.s try avoiding going on Friday as many of the famous food stalls close on Friday!)
Next, we headed for Ah Ding roast pork which has been introduced by various food magazines and food programs. It is sell at residence which is quite remote, we would have been lost our way without WAZE.
This is it! The roast pork. Well, I am not a fan of roast pork but this is quite good. The meat is fresh but I think it's a bit salty. Should have been eaten with rice.
This is the san-sui tou fu fah! (to direct translate, it's call mountain water toufufah...lol) This small cup costs RM2 but it's really worth it! The tofufah is sweet by naturally and smooth. To say it in another way, it is like toufufa taste jelly. This is a must if you are going to Sg.Lembing.
There are soya drink and "dan san" too! The soya drink is really smooth sweet. However, it doesn't has the artificial taste like those can drinks. The dan-san is a type of biscuit that is similar to "sak ke ma" but this is definitely better!
I bet you have never eat this noodle unless you have been to Sg.Lembing. This is the Lembing noodles which you can only get it at Sg. Lembing!
The texture of this Lembing noodles is like pan-mee. I love it! Many of the stalls sell this handmade noodle. If you really like it, you can buy a few packs and cook it yourself!
"OMG!" is what I could say when I have my first bite of this tomato noodles. It is definitely the best food I have in Sungai Lembing!
The sauce is not too sweet yet the tomato taste is quite strong. The noodle is being fried( I think so?) so it is a little bit crunchy.
There are many others nice food that we didn't have the chance to try at Sg.Lembing. Hopefully I will have the chance to try them next time! I will post about the attractions at Sungai Lembing and Kuantan next!
